Round 3, Game 1 - Highlights from Around the League

Game 1: Edmonton Oilers vs. Dallas Stars

Thanks to everyone who tuned in for an exciting Game 1 of the #UnitedCup Western Conference Finals on Tuesday night!

Leon Draisaitl has really found his game of late, working his way into the top 10 playoff scoring leaders, at #6.

He added 2 goals to his campaign on Tuesday, which proved to be big ones, as the Oilers had a two-goal lead nearing the end of the 3rd.

They would add an empty netter from James Neal to seal it, taking Game 1 by a final score of 6-3, though it was a much closer game than that score would suggest.

Full video highlights of Tuesday's game are available here.

Game 1: Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Carolina Hurricanes

Anton Forsberg would get the call in goal for the simulation Hurricanes once again, despite bonafide starter Petr Mrázek being available.

Forsberg is 9-2 thus far in the playoffs and has been stellar.

Game 1 of the #UnitedCup Eastern Conference was no different, as he cashed in another great performance, only allowing a single goal.

Andrei Vasilevskiy was spectacular himself, but it would not be enough for Tampa in Game 1.

Martin Necas and Adrei Svechnikov would each find the net for the Hurricanes. Enough for a 2-1 win and a 1-0 series lead.
