We customize your new skates to fit you by heating them up and allowing the boot to shape around your feet, this helps you achieve a customized fit!

Most skates these days come with thermo-formable materials, which when heated up, allow us to adjust the fit of the skate to accommodate each skaters unique foot.

WHY HEAT FIT YOUR SKATES?

- It enables your technician to customize your new skates to your foot.
- When the skates are warm they become soft and can then mold around your individual foot It helps to cut back on the break-in period.
- You achieve an overall increase in comfort.

HOW DO I GET THIS SERVICE?

Heat fitting is included with all of our new or used skate purchases.

Please Note: Manufacturers suggest that you do not use skates that have been heat molded for a minimum of 12 hours, do keep this in mind when you're planning your next visit!

We check each pair of skates we sell to ensure that the blade alignment is just right -- & we do so at no extra charge!

At United Sport & Cycle, we believe that a properly aligned blade is imperative for a skater to get the most out of his or her skates -- so much so, that we include the service with every new & used skate purchase.

Not all skates require a blade adjustment, but we ensure that each and every pair we sell is aligned properly before sending them home with you! If your new skates require an alignment we will do it for you at no extra cost.

Precision Balance is a method of sharpening that will enhance your skating ability and performance on the ice. Speed, Power, Balance and Stability, the critical elements of skating, can be affected as a result of precise sharpening and contouring.

Precision Balance Sharpening addresses all of the inherent variables that affect the skate blade so that a better quality sharpening can be achieved. Blade thickness, for example, it can reduce the bite angle of your blade and can ultimately cause slippage while your leg is at full extension during the skating stride.

A PRECISION BALANCE SHARPENING DELIVERS:
