Snowshoe Fit Guide
Whether you're looking to enjoy a scenic winter trek through Edmonton's River Valley, preparing for a more demanding backcountry hike, or planning on participating in a fast-paced snowshoe race (yes, that's a real thing!) finding the right fit is important. Two of the largest and most trusted snowshoe brands, Atlas and Sasquatch, offer snowshoes for all ages and levels that provide comfort and stability even in the harshest conditions.
Unlike shoes or skates, snowshoe sizes refer to their length and width, and are often measured in inches. This sizing differs based on rider weight, so it's important to know which will work best for you. Some brands like Sasquatch offer the same sizing across all their products, while others such as Atlas have different lengths between models. Regardless, the below size charts should help guide you in making the right choice!
