5x (6th free) Hockey and Goalie Skate Sharpening Card

Our standard and the conventional skate sharpening, with results dependent on the depth of the hollow ground into the bottom of the skate. The standard hollow for skates is a 1/2" which gives a good mix of grip and speed. Skaters who go less (deeper hollow) than that will get more bite and have more control skating but less glide or speed. Skaters who go more (more shallow hallow) will get less bite/grip but will have more glide and speed.

Ice conditions can also play a factor into what sharpening you would want - the softer the ice you play on you would want to get a higher sharpening, and the harder type of ice you would want less.
