United Sport & Cycle is seeking a permanent Full-Time Baseball Category Lead to join our team. Reporting to the Division 3 Manager, this position requires an advanced knowledge of all things baseball and softball as well as someone who is experienced and able to provide a high level of service that our customers have come to expect. The ideal candidate will also be working closely with our Merchandise Analyst to anticipate and create the annual category buying programs, product selections, new product line ideas and inventory analysis among other necessary tasks in ensuring United Sport & Cycle can consistently provide the products and services that best fit the needs of our customers.

Whare:

• Have a proven track-record providing legendary customer service within a retail setting demonstrating an ability to resolve concerns and complaints
• Demonstrate experience in merchandising and have a keen eye for effective presentation, both in store and online
• Are familiar with new and existing product lines that would be suitable for the variety of customers
• Have experience in building long-term relationships with customers
• Shown to promote a clean, organized, and safe working environment
• Self-motivated to recognize and manage tasks, balance workload priorities, increase knowledge with current and upcoming product lines and advance skills as needed
• Experienced with the guidance of a team, ensuring department changes in policies or procedures are communicated and executed with ongoing staff training
• Can demonstrate a ‘Continuous Improvement’ mentality and brings forward ideas along with implementing as needed

What you have:

• 2+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in the sporting goods industry
• 3+ years of previous/continuous experience within baseball or softball
  teams/environments
• Ability to deal effectively with people and able to work co-operatively on a team
• Proficient with computers and POS/Inventory systems.
• Supervisory experience is an asset
• Experience with maintaining a business social media site is an asset
• Direct experience with team sports is an asset

United Sport & Cycle is seeking a permanent Full-Time Restocking & Warehouse Associate to join our amazing team. Reporting to the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor, the successful candidate will be acting in a support role assisting in a variety of tasks within our warehouse and retail areas to ensure the department is operating at its optimal level. The primary roles are to help restock the floor daily and ensure our warehouses are clean, organized and efficient. Secondary roles include acting as a backup driver to deliver same-day deliveries as well as assisting the receiving team. This is an ideal position for someone who is motivated, self-driven, accountable, can work independently and within a team environment. This person is looking for a new job that offers a wide range of duties and opportunities.

• Experienced within a warehouse setting (forklift experience an asset).

Responsibilities & Duties:
