Full-Time Production Assistant
United Sport & Cycle’s Team Sales division is seeking a Full-Time Production Assistant who is passionate about their career and sports too! As an organization focused on athletics and our community, we know consistent quality and dependability is key in relating with our clients. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for becoming proficient in all aspects of the role from the graphic design in Wilcom Embroidery Studio and Photoshop to the production side of embroidery, heat press, and sewing on a variety of garments / items. This position is part of a well-organized team that is involved with a variety of daily functions including design, production, sorting & receiving orders & preparing orders for pick up.
There are no two days alike which requires this role to be organized and self-motivated all while productively working alongside and effectively communicating with teammates. We are looking for someone who is excited to start together with their next permanent ‘Work Family’ and find enjoyment within their role and work setting.
Who YOU are:
You are a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with organizational and production experience to be able to meet deadlines with quality work. You can be on your feet all day when needed along with moving heavy products at times. You understand the importance of getting the job done, but you also know how to have fun and add to a team dynamic.
In addition, you possess:
- 2+ years’ experience in garment production of some kind. Embroidery machines and heat press an asset.
- 1+ years in graphic design experience – Photoshop experience an asset
- Proficient computer skills in Word, Excel and written communication through e-mail or other customer-facing platforms.
- Experience in receiving, sorting, organizing products an asset.
- Sewing experience an asset
- Drivers License an asset
- Ability to meet deadlines and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Can maintain focus and consistent quality and efficiency of work
- Supporter of Continuous Improvement
- Solid English Language with written and verbal communication skills.
- Enjoys working within a team
- A positive attitude and to help where is needed.

Fan Shop Category Lead
Job Description
We are currently seeking a full-time Fan Shop Category Lead to maintain and develop our Fan Shop
& Merch Division. We are looking for a candidate who has an array of pro sport knowledge across
multiple professional teams, an awareness of team logos and current player rosters, and displays a
passion for jersey designs and merchandise. They are also experienced with best merchandising
practices and familiar with general accessory apparel including sunglasses and footwear sales. The
winning candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to provide a level of service that has customers
returning, a passion in developing and improving the area, and the awareness to assist other teammates
to ensure success of their divisions
Who you are:
• Possess knowledge and experience with a variety of pro sport merchandise, including NHL, MLB,
NBA, NFL, CFL and other local sport teams.
• Has experience with custom jersey processes and details associated with current team rosters
and their associate patches based on the requested player.
• Adept at maintaining strategic product presentation and stock recovery.
• Enthusiastic about setting up creative and attractive merchandising displays.
• Known for the love of sport activities and enjoy helping others who share the same passion.
• Can demonstrate a ‘Continuous Improvement’ mentality and brings forward ideas along with
implementing as needed.
• Able to demonstrate customer service skills that are beyond measure.
• Able to take charge of this division, ensuring all products are adequately displayed and orderly.
• Enjoy reaching and exceeding sales targets.
• Attend product knowledge sessions and actively pursue knowledge of merchandise and
equipment.
What YOU have:
• 3+ years of retail sales experience, preferably in the sporting goods industry.
• Ability to deal effectively with people and able to work co-operatively on a team.
• Proficient with computers and POS/Inventory systems.
• Supervisory experience (an asset).
• Knowledge of hockey gear (an asset)
• Knowledge of fitness equipment (an asset)
• Direct experience with team sports (an asset
