We are currently seeking a Full-Time General Sports Sales Division Manager. As
Division Manager you are the Directly Responsible for the profitable operation
of your entire division, with a primary focus on leading a high performing team
and ensuring customer service and store presentation are industry leading. You
work closely with a Divisional Leadership Team that will drive sales and gross
profit results, with a keen eye on industry trends. You work closely with the
other Division Leaders to ensure success and consistency store wide.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Delivering above and beyond customer service
• Develops and leads a high performing team from the sales floor
• Delivers annual performance reviews on a timely basis
• Responsible for the training, development and coaching of divisional team members
• Responsible for merchandising, cleanliness, organization and overall presentation of the division.
• Ensures United Sport & Cycle’s standards of Customer Service (Hospitality) are maintained throughout our operations and that all customer concerns or issues are dealt with according to United Sport & Cycle’s standards
• Responsible for the performance and growth of all divisional categories
• Plays an active role in the procurement of inventory for all sports within the division
• Works closely with the Divisional Business Analyst to help ensure we have the right product at the right time
• Takes a lead role in the annual Sales Budgeting process for the division
• Is in tune with the marketplace for each of the sport categories within the division.
• Works with a Divisional & Store Leadership Team to create amazing memories for United Sport & Cycle customers in store & online

Job description:

United Sport & Cycle is seeking a permanent Full-Time Seasonal Sport Repair Technician to join our team to help continue our history of going above & beyond for our customers and their sports needs. This position will be accountable for providing excellent customer service and workmanship in sports equipment repair, cleaning, & sharpening. This role is very hands-on as part of the Sport Repair Team that at times is a very fast paced environment.

Who you are:

You are known for your above and beyond customer service, mechanical aptitude, and an ability to focus on your tasks in a busy setting. You embrace the opportunity to repair and service customer’s sports equipment, to problem solve different situations, and learn new product knowledge / skills as required.

In addition, you have:

• 2+ years experience of repairing or servicing sporting equipment or something similar
• Previous skate sharpening experience
• A passion for working with your hands and keeping busy!
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new skills
• A positive attitude and able to work with others to coordinate daily duties and be an effective team member.
• A keen attention to detail and accuracy paired with the ability to stay focused.
• A desire to adhere to safety precautions put in place.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently to complete tasks.
• Ability to understand and communicate in the English Language with customers and co-workers.
• Basic computer skills / experience an asset
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends
