It's a kids bike tire so I guess it's not meant to last. We live in an area with elevation so the tire gets skidded often which wears it out quicker. If they made kids bike tires higher quality all those used bikes could be used longer instead of being tossed away because the tires cost so much. You can get a used bike for $30-$40 but then the tires need to be replaced so another $40. Might as well buy a new bike.
