The mask itself is amazing; it fits my large head great and the SAW system on the cage greatly reduces how much you feel shots that hit you head-on.

However, in my second season with the mask, two screws came loose one day (somewhat concerning) and I completely lost one of the white rubber grommets that connects the cage to the mask. Bauer isn't selling these individually or as part of a hardware replacement kit, and I'm not sure they're selling them at all. No retailer is selling them, at the very least.

To put out a mask with a revolutionary shock absorption system, and then to not sell replacement parts for it, is an amazingly poor choice. I was forced to use "traditional" hardware and clamp down hard on the mask with the screw + nut + two plastic washers so my cage wouldn't move around. Even with the white plastic washers, there's quite a visible gap between the cage and the grommet hole. It looks horrible.

Because of this, it's a bad long term purchase. Even if you don't lose them, these rubber grommets will likely harden, discolour, dry+crack, or otherwise need replacement. And at that point, you're SOL.
