Our 2026 Bat Rental Program lets players test the newest baseball and softball bats in real game and practice situations before committing to a purchase. Whether you're upgrading, switching brands, or sizing up, we make it easy to try multiple models and find the one that feels right.

Step-by-Step Rental Process
- Call us at (780) 433-1181 or come in store to get an update on availability.
- If there is availability in a model that suits your needs you can reserve over the phone or in person.
- To complete your booking please provide us with: Your Full Name, your Phone Number and Email
- You will receive a confirmation email and a payment link from customercare@unitedsport.ca. (we will never take your payment details over the phone)
- Follow the Payment Link to securely process your rental fee. Once the rental fee has been processed your booking is confirmed.
- On your confirmed pickup date arrive at: United Sport & Cycle at 7620 Gateway Blvd NW, Edmonton.
- At this time a transaction of the full retail price of the bat(s) will be placed on your card.
- Enjoy your bat!
- Return your rental to United Sport & Cycle at 7620 Gateway Blvd NW, Edmonton on your confirmed drop off date by 4pm. At this time the retail price of the cooler will be refunded to the original card used at the time of pickup.
Pricing
- 1 day: $24.99
- Weekend (Friday-Monday): $49.99
If you require more days we are happy to add more on for an additional $25/day.
The retail price of the bat plus the rental fees will be charged at the time of pickup. Once the bat is returned the rental fees will be refunded.
*Note: Bats must be returned back by 4pm on the scheduled return day. If bats are dropped off after 4pm, a late fee of $25/day late will be charged.
Policies
Cancellation Policy
To cancel a confirmed rental please inform us a minimum of 48 hours prior to your pickup date via phone at 780-433-1181. If you are unable to provide 48 hours notice of your cancellation the full rental fee will be due.
Damage Policy
Equipment remains the responsibility of the customer from the time of customer pick-up to the time of its return. Items are to be used for their intended purposes. Renters are responsible for the proper use and care of the equipment. United Sport & Cycle are not responsible for any losses, damage, or additional expenses incurred by the renter for any reason including but not limited to improper use, or storage. All rental equipment needs to be returned in a non-damaged state within the guidelines of normal wear and tear.

Are quantities limited?
Yes — rental inventory is limited and rotates throughout the season. We recommend calling ahead during peak months to secure your preferred model.
How long can I rent a bat for?
Rental periods vary depending on availability and demand. Most players rent for a game, weekend, or short trial period. Contact us for current rental options.
What happens if the bat gets damaged?
Normal game use is expected. Excessive damage or misuse may result in repair or replacement charges. Our team will explain all policies before your rental begins
Can I reserve a specific model or size?
Due to demand and rotation, we recommend calling ahead to check availability.
What certifications do you carry?
We carry USA, USSSA and BBCOR certified models depending on league requirements. Our team can help you choose the correct certification.
Can I rent more than one bat to compare?
In many cases, yes — availability permitting. Comparing swing weight and barrel feel side-by-side is one of the best ways to find your perfect match.
Is this available for both baseball and softball?
Yes! We carry select 2026 models for both baseball and fastpitch softball players.
What if I don’t know what size I need?
No problem. Our team will help measure and recommend the right length and drop weight before you rent.
