Senior Sales Associate - General Sports

We are currently seeking a Senior Sales Associate to be a leading member of our General Sports division, reporting to the Division 3 manager. You will be required to have excellent knowledge of a variety of sports but with a primary focus on baseball gear. You will work closely with a Divisional Leadership Team and will execute on our customer service platform with the intent of driving sales and providing support for the other associates.

· Passionate about sport and have a great knowledge of Baseball, Soccer, Curling, and Volleyball gear amongst other sports

· Loves to serve/host customers above and beyond expectation creating amazing memories

· Someone with experience in merchandising and has a keen eye for effective presentation, and floor upkeep

· Has empathy for customer’s dissatisfaction and can reach a mutually beneficial resolution

· Is an effective communicator, both written and verbal

· Seeks opportunities to build long-term relationships with customers

· Is able to problem solve and handle difficult situations

· Excels in a fast-paced environment

· Is self-motivated to manage their task/workload and to increase their knowledge and skills

Required Qualifications:

· 3+ years of retail sales experience; supervisory experience is an asset.

· Strong knowledge of related merchandise and an aptitude to keep up with changing product lines. Proven ability to sell products and engage customers effectively.

· Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

· Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly workspace and inventory management.

· A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and building lasting relationships with customers.
