Canterbury Speed Team SG WRS M6 Replacement Rugby Studs

The cylindrical "thin" M6 stud type has become increasingly popular and is often used on modern "backs" boots which usually have 6 removable studs.  M6 simply refers to the thickness of the screw portion of the stud.  The M6 is slightly thicker than the more traditional M5.

WRS offers a full range of stud lengths to suit your typical playing surface and preferences.  The most common configuration is to have shorter studs in the front four positions and a slightly longer stud in the back two heel studs. An 8mm and 11mm combination is the most common out of the box.  That said a uniform stud length feels nearly the same and some prefer it in the event you want to replace all the studs with the same length for ease of use.

If you play on generally firm/hard fields we would recommend a 6mm or 8mm length. 8mm is also the most common starting length for boots.

11mm and 13mm work well on soft natural surfaces and can tolerate slightly wet conditions well.

Each kit comes with (15) total studs in your selected size along with a stud wrench.  This will let you fully replace both boots and still have (3) spare studs as needed.
