I bought this chair as I was going to an outdoor event & the temperature was expected to be around 9C. While there was going to be a campfire, I knew that I'd still be cold. This chair was a perfect combination, along with the fire & a fuzzy weighted blanket over my legs. Will it keep you warm when it's really cold on its own? Probably not, especially if you're like me & often cold. But it helped to keep the chill off & allowed me to stay warm. The battery packed lasted longer than I thought. We had it on medium & then high for about 5 hours before it ran out of power. But I had a 2nd battery bank & was able to keep the warm going for another few hours until I went home. This is a definite game changer for any outdoor events where you want to keep warm. The only thing better would be if they offered the Kuma Lazy Bear with heat on the back as well.
