I have been a fan of United Cycle since the old days on Whyte ave. It’s true that it is much less of a Bike Store than it used to be. It’s more like a high end Sportchek. The Cycling Department staff aren’t always as knowledgeable or inspiring as they used to be but they are becoming better with their on line presence allowing people like me, who have very specific needs, to fulfil orders. I will buy local and from United as often as I can.
