Ready to do some curls? Here are three variations of that simple exercise that can give your biceps a great workout!
The standing alternating curl
While standing, do alternating bicep curls with your dumbbells. Make sure you keep your chest high and your shoulders back when curling!
The standing simultaneous curl
The next step up is the simultaneous curl. Curling both weights at the same time while keeping the same form ramps up the exercise and really gets your blood pumping!
Simultaneous 1&1/2 curls against the wall
This exercise really puts the emphasis on training your biceps specifically, as leaning against the wall eliminates any possible momentum from your body that could be used to help curl the weight up and down. Start with a standard curl, then only move halfway down before engaging again to curl all the way up and down again. This forces your bicep to really work to lift the weight from the halfway position after stopping.
These exercises are only the beginning of what you can do with these adjustable dumbbells. Whether you just want to do some curls or build an entire multifaceted workout around them, they'll be able to help you reach your fitness goals!
